Museum Weavers of the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum

Museum Weavers of the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum (AGSEM). We weave rag rugs using rags from a local apparel manufacturer. The rugs are sold at shows and demonstrations with proceeds going to the Museum Weavers Building Fund. We encourage all who are interested in learning the art and craft of weaving to join us every Thursday from 9:00 - 3:00. Bring your lunch.

Beginners and experienced weavers are welcome. We have 16 floor looms warped for rugs and also table looms for our classes given to 7th graders from the near-by Guajome Park Academy, a charter school in the Vista Public School System. The Museum is non profit and the Museum Weavers will eventually have their own building.

Membership dues for the Museum is $30.00 per year. For more inforamation: Contact Bill Rafnel, or phone 760-726-8178.
