This eight strand round braid is made of Japanese and other silk and accented with Czech size 11 seed beads. The end caps are made of peyote stitch with Japanese delica beads. The focal consists of rutilated quartz, shell, and a lampwork bead by Alex Nelson of Shambala Glass. This necklace will be shown in the Braids and Beyond Exhibit at the Knitting and Stitching Show in England in November 2003.

Japanese and other silk is used in this eight strand hollow braid. It is accented with Czech size 11 seed beads. The end caps are worked in peyote stitch with Japanese size 15 seed beads. The focal consists of Botswana agate, shell, and rutilated quartz.
