 |  My first project was this belt, simple POT, but lots of it, it's about 2"/5.08cm wide and 40"/101.6cm. I use ready made macrame cords which happen to be four-ply and most are Z-twisted (for some reason some colors are S-twisted ??!!??) I started from the buckle and wrapped the cords round the centre bar. At the end I glued and sewed on a scrap bit of suede to finish it off. Detail below.   Next I tried the potholder on above, but because of the thickness of the cords I used it's about an eggcupholder in finished size (approx. 3"/7.62cm). |
